Smt. Nathiba Hargovandas Lakhmichand Municipal Medical
College (NHLMMC) is an
Ahmedabad, Gujarat-based medical college. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation
(AMC) founded the Medical College in 1963, and it is affiliated with Gujarat
University. The AMC was only the second Municipal Corporation in India to
establish its own Medical College.
Undergraduate courses
include MBBS, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), and Diploma in Radiography,
while Postgraduate courses include M.Ch, DM, MS, and MD. NEET is used to
determine admission to all programmes.
To apply for admission,
candidates must take the NEET, and they will be admitted to the institute based
on the results of the counselling.
Three teaching hospitals
are affiliated with the institute. SVPIMSR Hospital is the main hospital on
campus, and Smt. S.C.L. Hospital is located 5 kilometres away. Sheth C.H. Nagri
Eye Hospital, located 12 kilometres from Gujarat College, has more than 2200
teaching beds and an abundance of clinical material of all varieties.

The college has a
variety of facilities, including a lecture hall, a central library, and a
hostel.
MCQ Lab, College
Canteen, Indoor Games, Model Center for MEU Activities, Central Research Lab,
and other facilities are available.
Library: The college has a well-equipped library
with approximately 24,000 books, as well as a Medline link and Internet access.

Computer skill Lab for
MCQ: The college has a
well-equipped computer skill lab with 65 computers, which was established in
2010 with the vision of the dean Dr Pankaj Patel to train students for

Laboratory [CRL]: The CRL will
support ongoing non-funded research by faculty members and postgraduate
students in the respective departments.
Internet: The College has cutting-edge IT
infrastructure. The wifi service on campus is provided by a well-maintained
leased line connection. Plans are in the works to expose students to Internet
surfing by installing computers with phone connections in the students'
gymkhana.
Hostel: Male and female students have separate
hostel accommodations. Both hostel campuses offer a secure environment.
